Living in a metropolis like Karachi has its own charm and demands. The city by sea is the most attractive hub for the dwellers all over Pakistan. The recent renovations the city has seen brought a pronounced visual delight. The proposal “City by Sea, As I See” is an addition to this.
The idea is to beautify the Jinnah Bridge with visuals that illustrates the city metropolis and build the sense of owning it. The ramps are covered with a narrative of city and seascape and silhouettes of building in stylized abstract form. While columns are highlighted with the complimentary colours which originated and coordinates the whole mood. The unique colour scheme and abstraction will make the whole project different from other underpasses or renovated design projects; Karachi witnessed i.e. giving a signature and distinctive style to the city.
